All this rain and all we got was…pretty good waves and chocolate water. So no complaining.

It wasn’t enough rain to blast the rivermouths out and make amazing sandbars but it was good enough to keep everyone pumped on surfing. Despite the off and on torrential downpours from the last storms, there were nice little windows of opportunity. The winds would turn offshore and there would be no sign that a storm came through. El Nino is still here and there should be more to come. All these photos are of Cheyne taking advantage of one of those little windows.
