While Florida’s Blake Jones may not fall into typical grom status, to Volcom House elder Tai Van Dyke from Maui, he’s just that. So when Blake asks for one of Tai’s famous haircuts, Tai obliges with a shave-the-top-of-his-dome-only ‘do. At last count there were surfers from eight different countries at the Volcom Pipe house awaiting the start of the Pipe Contest.
