WAY OF THE OCEAN is directed by Matt Kleiner and is a five part movie series exploring the worlds oceans and the surf they provide. Australia is the first film in the series set for release early 2011 and from the look of the trailer it looks like something shot by National Geographic. The imagery is awesome. Not to mention the lineup of surfers set to star in the film: Asher Pacey, Josh Kerr, Taj Burrow, Kelly Slater, Jordy Smith, Dane Reynolds, Craig Anderson, and Adam Robertson. Adam Robertson is who we most anticipate considering he has some clips ripping on some of the Chemistrys that Jason Bennett shaped for him this past summer. Looks like it could be a good one.

This footage is from a few weeks ago when a lot of the traveling pros were in town for the Nike 6.0 event at Lower Trestles. Adam Robertson “Mobo” and Nic Muscroft “Rush.com”, from Moborush, stopped by our San Diego factory to pick up some custom Flash Point model surfboards. Its pretty cool that the guys from In Surf News took the time to document these guys testing out some of their fresh custom surfboards before the big event.

Adam Robertson has done it again by winning the trials at the Rip Curl Pro, Bells Beach. This time he did it while riding his 5’10 x 19 x 2 3/8 Flash Point model shaped by Jason Bennett.
If anyone knows Bells, it’s Adam Robertson. Hailing from the far west coast of Victoria, Robo is based in nearby Jan Juc, where he’s steadily been working his way up the WQS rankings.
At last year’s Rip Curl Pro, Robo blew away all comers en route to becoming the first Victorian in decades to make the final of the contest. Although his roll through the contest was stopped by a rampaging Joel Parkinson, Robo had the local crowd firmly on his side as the final went down in epic conditions.
Now the lone representative from Victoria, Robertson will face Bede Durbidge (AUS) and Adrian Buchan (AUS) in the opening round of competition. Keep a lookout for Adam when the competition begins as he is looking forward to mixing it up with the best at his local spot again.
