Here are a some clips of my most recent trip to Nicaragua. My footage is pretty much 3 sessions before I hurt my ankle. Included in this short is my brother Justin and good friend Eham “Man-Asses”. This was my first trip to Nica and I’m sold because the place is sick. Will be going back very soon.

Went and saw Wiz Khalifa this past Saturday up in Jacksonville Beach with my brother Justin, and a couple of my friends. The crew included Breton, Zac, Scarchase, Goi and Pezo, we all rode up from Melbourne and met up with some of our friends in Jax Beach. The show was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately I had to crutch around the thing, but i snapped a couple photos with my Iphone while he was on stage.
The last photo is Bentley after a long weekend of partyin’.

Hey Everyone,
As some of you know, I did a recent trip to Nicaragua to try to get some footage and try to make one of these Innersection videos and on the 4th day I got clipped by the lip in the barrel resulting in my back foot being compressed into my board and my foot rolled inward and popped. Most ankle sprains/breaks roll outward. It happened last Tuesday and I returned home on Friday night and went and got some x rays.. Today I went to get an MRI so the results came back and this is what ended up happening.
Fractured my Fibula right near the ankle
I have a chip fracture of my Distal Tibia right near the ankle
As well as an ATF Ligament Sprain
Tomorrow I go to an Orthopedic Dr first thing in the morning, he is a family friend and understands my situation with surfing and how important having ligaments 100% is to the sport and athletes in general. That being said he will let me know if I need to just wait it out, or get surgery. The doctor I saw today said surgery usually wouldn’t be necessary but the fact that I am an athlete it might be highly recommended. I will keep everyone posted when I know more. Hope everyone is doing well.

Yesterday I got a chance to golf the world famous and home of the PGA Players Championship, TPC Sawgrass, with Jack Morrissey, Todd Causey, and Bruce Irons.

On March 7th, 2010, pro team rider Blake Jones won the first ever DNA Energy Drink/ Reef Surf Contest & Airshow at Pelican Beach Park, Satellite Beach, FL on his 5′2 Flash Point model.
With flat spells lasting for weeks on Florida’s East Coast, the original “Christmas Wreef” theme of this DNA Energy Drink/ Reef Surf Contest & Airshow began after nearly three months of a waiting period. The event had clean chest- to head-high surf and great weather.
Blake took the winner-takes-all Airshow which got underway with 10 competitors chipping in $20 each. DNA added another $100 to sweeten the pot. He ended up taking home $300 for the event. Not bad for a day of work at home. Check the whole story and results on Easternsurf.com.

Recent footage of Blake Jones at home putting his custom shaped 5′2 x 18 1/2 x 2 1/8 Flash Point model to the test. The Flash Point model has been Blake’s surfboard of choice at home and on the road when the waves are less than average.
