A shortboard for everyday surf, the R2 is one of our customers favorite performance shortboards.
The R2 model has been ridden and tested by our entire R&D team throughout the years in a variety of conditions. From winter swells at Blacks beach to the racetrack at Uluwatu, this model has been put through its paces, and consistently is our customer’s go to high performance shortboard.
The R2 has a thicker nose foil which assists in catching waves. It has a relaxed nose and tail rocker as well as a slight single concave throughout the board. We found this combination to be fast in slower/mushier surf yet can still hold in bigger conditions. It is a very user friendly shortboard and remains one of our top sellers year to year.
